Pile-driving, mat-pounding action is shaking up theCrown Coliseumand the big-bodied wrestlers are big business inCumberland County.

Wrestling is by far the biggest draw in the Cumberland County area. Five professional wrestling matches have produced five sellout crowds of 10-11,000 people each.

"It rocks," says fan Sheryl Hinkle. "It's what everybody wants. The Coliseum sells out every single time they have a wrestling event here. They'd be stupid not to have more wrestling events here."

Hinkle says the events are fun for the whole family, unlike other events.

Fan Mike Walker agrees. "Everybody loves wrestling for some reason," Walker says. "It's a big show. It's fun to watch and fun to get into it, so I enjoy it."

John Reid came to watch his cousin wrestle, and stayed for the rest of the show.

Tuesday night's event brought in an estimated $500,000. Cumberland County gets about $60,000 of that amount. Coliseum officials say that is about as good as it gets.
