Young Child Falls from Window

A 3-year-old Raleigh child has been seriously injured after falling from a second story window Tuesday night.

Police are investigating the accident, which happened at the Eastwood Court apartment complex on East Davie Street.

They say the investigation is open, but the incident has been ruled an accident and no charges will be filed.

The child, Torrey Smith, is listed in guarded condition at Wake Med.
