I-40 Accident Slows Raleigh Traffic

An accident on Interstate 40 near Wade Avenue sent three people to the hospital and slowed traffic a bit Sunday afternoon.

It happened just after 3 p.m. on the I-40 entrance ramp.

Two vehicles collided and flipped over. The three victims received only minor injuries.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how it happened.

The scene has been cleared and traffic is again flowing through the area.
