Accident Briefly Shuts Down Wake Forest Road

A section of Wake Forest Road in Raleigh was shut down for more than two hours following a traffic accident.

The accident occurred Wednesday morning near the intersection of Wake Forest and Georgetown roads.

Authorities said no one was seriously injured, but utility crews had to shut down a portion of the road to clear the wreckage.
