State Investigated Hillsborough Detective

A Hillsborough police detective is under investigation himself.

The state Attorney General's office confirmed that it has looked into Investigator Doug Meade.

The state will not say why it investigated, only only that no charges have been filed.

As a result of the investigation, however, Orange County District Attorney Jim Woodall has dismissed more than 20 cases involving Meade.
