Some Cumberland County high school students might get to sleep a little later in the fall.

Local school administrators are reviewing a proposal to change the start time for Westover High School and Seventy-First High School from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. That would push the dismissal time to 4:15 p.m. from 2:35 p.m.

The change is being considered as a way to use school buses more efficiently. But for the plan to work, local elementary schools would have to start earlier.
