Holman Pleads Guilty in Wife's Death

A Carpenter man has pleaded guilty to first degree murder in the killing of his wife last July 28.

Authorities say Allen Holman chased her by car into a convenience store parking lot in Apex and shot her.

The plea came Tuesday morning. Attorneys have now begun to select a jury for the sentencing phase of the trial. Holman will either serve a life sentence or receive the death penalty.
