Walkout Planned at UNC to Protest Iraq War

Students at UNC-Chapel Hill and college campuses across the country are expected to walk out of class Tuesday to show their opposition to the war in Iraq.

Some Triangle college students are walking out of class Tuesday to show their resistance to the war in Iraq.

Students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will join others from across the country as the Iraq war enters its fifth year.

UNC students are expected to walk out of class at noon and hold a rally at a campus gathering spot known as "The Pit." UNC-Chapel Hill Students for a Democratic Society is organizing the walkout.

Students at campuses across the country are expected to participate in similar protests.
