Williams Portrayed as 'Disruptive' in Jail

Jurors in the trial of John Williams are scheduled Tuesday to begin deciding whether the convicted killer lives or dies. Williams was convicted Friday on 11 charges, including two murders and several sexual assaults.

The prosecution presented evidence Tuesday that Williams was disruptive in jail and had to be moved to North Carolina Central Prison. Prosecutors also talked about his past criminal history.

Defense attorneys say the testimony does not justify sending Williams to death row. They told jurors that "life in prison without parole is sufficient punishment."

The jury must unanimously agree to sentence Williams to death. Otherwise, he'll be sentenced to life in prison.
