Raleigh Police Seek Clues to Pipe Bomb Planting

Raleigh police want to know why someone left a pipe bomb inside a car. A resident found the bomb inside his car, which was parked outside an apartment off Shanda Drive Wednesday.

Detectives say they haven't determined whether the car owner was an intended target. They don't currently know of a motive.

Police and the ATF removed the bomb and evacuated the area as a precaution.
