Two Charged With Assault Of Moore County Man

Two men are in jail after allegedly beating and robbing an elderly Moore County man.

Roy Yow, 41, and 53-year-old Lacy Maness are each charged with five felonies in the case.

The Moore County Sheriff's Office said the two men beat and robbed 71-year-old Arvin Lineberry when he came out of his house. He was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

Yow and Maness will appear in court Dec. 21.
