State Trooper Faces Drunken-Driving Charge

A state trooper is finding himself on the wrong side of the law.

WRAL has learned Trooper S.M. Mangum was arrested Friday evening by another state Highway Patrol trooper on a drunken driving charge.

The Person County Sheriff's Office and the Highway Patrol haven't released specific details about what happened. The Highway Patrol will only say it is taking "internal actions."
