Durham Man Sought in Day-Long Beating

Police Tuesday asked the public's help in locating a man they say beat a woman for a day last weekend, putting her in Duke Hospital in critical condition.
Charles Michael Parker, 35, is accused of second-degree kidnapping, assault by strangulation, assault inflicting serious injury and felony habitual assault, police said.
They said Parker beat and kicked a 51-year-old woman over a 12-hour period on Feb. 23 inside an apartment at 2003 House Ave.
