Authorities Identify Body Found Near U.S. Highway 64

Authorities now know the name of the person who was found dead Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday, all-terrain vehicle riders found a decomposing body in a wooded area Sunday afternoon about 50 feet from

U.S. Highway 64

near Frazier Road. The person has been identified as 43-year-old Calvin Lee Wiggins.

Wiggins was last seen July 19. His sister reported him missing on July 22.

The medical examiner at Nash General Hospital ruled that there were no signs of foul play and his death was not suspicious.
