Interm Police Chief Named in Fayetteville

Fayetteville police have a new man in charge.

Tom Bergamine has been named the interim police chief of the Fayetteville Police Department. He's a 28-year veteran of force who served as assistant chief under Tom McCarthy.

McCarthy is scheduled to begin his retirement on Wednesday.
