DOT To Close Two Westbound I-40 Lanes In Durham County

The state Department of Transportation will close two lanes of westbound Interstate 40 for pavement repairs at 8 p.m. Thursday.

The repairs will start near the Davis Drive exit and run to the Durham Freeway.

The closure is necessary for pavement repairs as part of the I-40 widening project.

The lanes should reopen by 6 a.m. Friday.
