Man In Custody After Standoff In Raleigh Neighborhood

A tense standoff forced police to evacuate a neighborhood off Millbrook Road in north Raleigh.

On Thursday, officers attempted to serve a warrant on Christian Munoz for failing to appear in court on a cocaine charge.

When police arrived, Munoz told officers he would not come out and barricaded his doors. He also threatened to hurt himself.

After several hours of negotiations, Munoz surrendered. Munoz faces a list of charges related to the standoff.
