Contract Employee Accused Of Downloading DMV Data

A contract worker is under investigation at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

The employee is accused of downloading information on millions of people in the DMV computer system.

The SBI is investigating the case. They say the worker got the addresses of nearly 4 million North Carolinians.

The employee apparently tried to get Social Security numbers but was caught.

Investigators say the information never got past the employee's work computer.
