A Wake Forest Police officer will not face charges for shooting a 14-year-old girl in February.

Investigators said Officer Kenny Mangum was chasing Jermane Richardson when Mangum's gun went off.

The bullet went through the front door of the house where Richardson lived and hit his sister, Brianna, in the arm.

Mangum remains on administrative leave. Brianna Richardson was not seriously injured in the shooting.
