Auto Parts Manufacturer Could Lay Off N.C. Workers

About 1,000 workers at two local plants are waiting to find out if they will get to keep their jobs.

Collins & Aikman filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy on Tuesday.

The company makes parts and carpets for most cars and trucks made in America.

The Michigan-based company has two local plants -- one in Roxboro, the other in Farmville.
