Fayetteville Teacher Suspended From School

A Cumberland County teacher charged with supplying alcohol to minors is off the job for now.

Deborah Reid, a sixth-grade teacher at Ireland Drive Middle School, has been suspended without pay, but school officials will not say whether the suspension is related to the incident.

Reid received a citation for " misdemeanor aiding the underage purchase of alcohol." Her case goes to court next week.
