Tuesday's storm that spread across parts of North Carolina proved that nothing is sacred.

Strong winds destroyed part of the Old Mill Church Of God in Sampson County.

What makes it worse is that church members just finished renovating the sanctuary at a cost of nearly $40,000.

The pastor lives next door to the church. The back of his house was torn off. He and his family are staying in a hotel.
