Man Accused Of Throwing Acid In Woman's Face

Police said Saturday they are searching for a man allegedly involved in an act of domestic violence.

Kinston police said Donya Meadows was walking through a parking lot, when her former boyfriend, Jerry Simmons Sr., allegedly threw boiling acid on her face.

Meadows' vision is getting better. Doctors said her skin will heal in a few months.

Simmons is considered armed and dangerous.
