Fayetteville Couple Heads To Washington For Inauguration

A Fayetteville couple will head to Washington, D.C., for the presidential inauguration.

John and Kirby Tyson were there four years ago. They said they could not wait to go back, so they asked U.S. Rep. Robin Hayes for help in getting tickets.

"To know that we're there, you feel a sense of pride in your country," Kirby said.

The couple got their wish and they will be on Capital Hill when the president is sworn in Thursday.

Officials promise tighter security at this inauguration than four years ago. The Tysons received a list of things they cannot bring to the event. They said it is much more restrictive than last time.
