Robeson County Boy Shot In Head

Right now, a 12-year-old Robeson County boy is in critical condition after being shot in the back of the head.

Investigators say the shooting happened as the 12-year-old sat in the back of a parked pick-up truck in Lumberton Thursday morning with an 18-year-old.

Authorities believe the 18-year-old was involved in some sort of altercation with 18-year-old Joshua Dial and 17-year-old Jonathan Smith.

Authorities believe the 12-year-old was shot in the process. His name has not been released.

On Friday, Dial and Smith made their first court appearance. They are now free on bond.
