Wilson Man Shoots Girlfriend, Self

Police in Wilson are investigating a murder-suicide.

It happened near the corner of Winstead and College Drive Wednesday afternoon.

Police said Aiden Lee Melvin, 22, shot his girlfriend, 24-year-old Suzette Joseph, to death.

Witnesses said Melvin then turned the gun on himself.
