Hoke Deputies Investigate Man's Death

Hoke County sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of a 20-year-old man as a homicide.

Investigators said Corey Daniel was found dead inside a home on Red Springs Road Wednesday evening.

Emergency dispatchers said the incident was initially called in as a seizure at 4:10 p.m. Daniel was pronounced dead at 7:10 p.m.

Investigators will not say how Daniel died, but said there are signs of foul play inside the house.
