A little taste of France in Raleigh is fading fast. The "Monet in Normandy" exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of Art closes Sunday.
Fans Get Last Chance to Say 'Au Revoir' to Monet Exhibit
It is going to be the marathon weekend for the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh. With the "Monet in Normandy" exhibit closing Sunday, the museum is trying to squeeze in as many visitors as possible.
The North Carolina Museum of Art is the only East Coast venue for "Monet in Normandy," a collection of 50 works borrowed from public and private collections around the world.
More than 185,000 people have already visited the exhibit. For the final weekend, the museum will stay open 32 hours straight from 9 a.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday. However, all remaining tickets are sold.
After its Raleigh appearance, the exhibit moves to the Cleveland Museum of Art, in February.
