First Tenant Officially Opens At Former North Hills Mall

The first tenant in the new North Hills complex opened its doors over the weekend.

Target held its grand opening on the site of what used to be North Hills Mall. The store is the first of 30 expected to open by the end of the year.

The mall was demolished last year to make way for a $200 million town center that developers say will be a boon for the economy.

A fitness center and movie theatre are expected to open around Thanksgiving.
