Student Tasered By Wilson Police Officer

Wilson police said an officer used a taser on a teenager who was fighting at his school.

Police said Officer Mike Seigel was at Beddingfield High School to serve a warrant when he saw two teens fighting.

According to authorities, Seigel first ordered the students to break it up. When that did not work, he used the taser on one of them.

Police said the 15-year-old was not injured, but he was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

Police said Seigel followed police procedures properly.
