Wilson Police Seek Suspect In Homicide

Police in Wilson are asking for the public's help in solving a murder.

Officers responded to a call of a possible shooting on Fairview Avenue near Wilson Street just before 5 a.m. Sunday.

When they arrived, they found a man, believed to be 24 years old, who had been shot in the head.

The victim is been identified as Julio Cesar Vazquez Porfirio of North Pine Street. Police say he is also known in the Wilson-area as Francisco Rodriguez.
