Two Injured In Durham Lab Accident

Two lab employees in a business in Research Triangle Park were hurt Thursday when a beaker filled with a chemical exploded.

One of the workers was cut by glass, and the other one suffered hearing problems from the loud blast.

The accident happened at Troxler Electronics on Cornwallis Road. The company makes test equipment for the highway construction industry.

Both employees were taken to Duke Hospital.
