The vote from America is in, and 11-year-old operatic singer Madeleine Edwards of Goldsboro is the hands-down favorite.

She was chosen by 75 percent of the viewers who watched three child singers this week on “Living Room Live, Kids Edition, a segment on the "CBS Early Show." A tape of Edwards singing at home that her father made aired Monday.

Edwards, who has a powerful voice and sings like a Metropolitan Opera diva, goes on to the next round of "Living Room Live," where she'll compete against two other weekly winners.

That round will likely air Tuesday, Dec. 26, and viewers will vote again.
