N.C. State Bar Disbars Lawyer Accused Of Embezzlement

Zebulon's former town manager is now a former lawyer.

Jonathan Koffa has been disbarred following charges he embezzled thousands of dollars and wrote a worthless check.

The North Carolina State Bar said those actions broke rules of conduct.

Koffa is currently awaiting trial after he turned himself in to authorities in February after months on the run.
