Wreck Slows Traffic Along I-40 East Near Miami Boulevard

A wreck involving two vehicles in the eastbound lanes at Miami Boulevard slowed commuters early Monday.

Authorities say the driver of a Mazda MX3 was trying to change lanes when the car ran into a Ford Explorer, causing the SUV to hit a guardrail and flip over.

Two people were taken to Duke Medical Center with minor injuries.

There is no word on any charges.
