A soldier with the 3rd Special Forces at Fort Bragg faces a number of sex charges.

After a four-month investigation, Cumberland County detectives arrested Sgt. 1st Class Scott Kendrick Miller Thursday.

Miller was charged with 19 counts of indecent liberties with a child, six counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and six counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

The sheriff's office says information received during its investigation into the indecent liberties allegations resulted in a search warrant being executed on Miller's residence on Netherfield Drive in Fayetteville on Feb. 10. During the search, detectives say child pornography was discovered on his computer.

Miller is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under $260,000 secured bond.
