Edgecombe Dogs Seized In Raid Put To Sleep

Dozens of pit bulls seized by the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office have been euthanized.

Deputies rounded up 32 animals in February. They were allegedly part of a dogfighting ring in Rocky Mount.

A judge ordered the dogs put to sleep after determining they were not adoptable.

Four people are in jail on animal cruelty charges.
