Halifax County Manager Injured In Iraq

Halifax County's manager, Matthew Delk, was injured serving with the Army National Guard in Iraq.

His family says Delk, a 1st Lieutenant with the 133rd Engineering Battalion out of South Carolina, was injured when his convoy vehicle ran over a roadside bomb.

Delk's family says he suffered severe burns on his face and hands.
