North Carolina has received a 'C' on the Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Violence report card.

Rachel Smith, co-President of the North Carolina Council of The Million Mom March says the fact that there's no law mandating locks for all guns sold in the state probably contributed to the lower grade.

The state also received a demerit for bad conduct because the state granted broad legal immunity to the gun industry.

It's the sixth annual report card issued for the state.
