4 Harnett Deputies Fired After Election

Four Harnett County deputies were fired this week, authorities said Friday.

The deputies were dismissed Wednesday, the day after Sheriff Larry Rollins was re-elected.

Maj. Gary McNeill declined to identify the deputies or specify the reasons for their terminations, calling the moves a personnel matter.
