Wake County Sheriff's Office Arrests 4 Suspects In Nightclub Homicide

The Wake County Sheriff's Office has arrested four people in connection with a homicide that occurred Friday night at Dockside Dolls on Highway 70 East.

Jose Arias Gonzalez, Ruperto Arias Gonzalez, Tomas Santana Hernandez, all of Raleigh, and Jose Galvan, of Garner, were arrested Saturday. Jose Gonzalez was charged with first-degree murder, while the other three men were charged with accessory after the fact of murder.

Jose and Ruperto Gonzalez live at the same address.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies received a call at 10:44 p.m. of a shooting at Dockside Dolls. When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered that a white male identified as David Norman Collins Jr. had been shot.

Collins, a security employee of the club, was transported to WakeMed, where he was pronounced dead at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.

According to witnesses, Collins had escorted the suspects out of the club when an altercation occurred, and Mr. Collins was shot.
