Raleigh Congregation Celebrates Four Holidays In One

December is a time of celebrating holidays based on our individual beliefs, but one church recognized four holidays in a single service.

The Center for Conscious Living in Raleigh observed Christmas, Hannukah, Ramadan and Kwanzaa on Sunday. Members and visitors spoke about each holiday and some participated in ceremonies.

"I think it's important that we understand one another's faith perspectives, to appreciate the similarities of the faith perspectives and to honor them," said Stacy Grove.

The Center for Conscious Living is two years old, and so is its holiday celebration of different faiths.
