The Bull City is gettting a multimillion-dollar bus facility courtesy of the federal government.
City leaders broke ground Monday morning on the new
Durham Area Transit Authority
(DATA) operations facility.
The 13-acre site on Fay Street will feature three office buildings and two garage facilities.
It will cost more than $10 million to build and $8 million of that amount is federally funded.
The facility is expected to be completed by December 2004.
