One Killed In Glenwood Ave. Traffic Accident

A deadly accident on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh Thursday left one person dead and slowed down traffic for hours.

Christopher Groom died in the two-car accident near the Umstead Park entrance. He reportedly turned in front of the other driver, but it was not clear Thursday who was at fault.

No one in the second car was seriously hurt.

The accident shut down both sides of the road during evening rush hour.
