Two Killed In Franklin County Accident

Two people were killed in a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning in Franklin County.

Authorities said the driver, James Batchelor, and a passenger, Lorenzo Batchelor, were killed when their car ran off State Route 1003 about six miles west of Louisburg. Both victims were from Henderson.

The accident happened around 4 am. According to the Highway Patrol, alcohol was a factor.
