Click It Or Ticket Begins 10th Year

Click it or Ticket kicked off Friday, marking the 10th anniversary of the annual campaign.

North Carolina is celebrating its highest rate of seat-belt use in history -- just more than 86 percent.

State transportation officials estimate the increased rate has saved more than 1,600 lives, prevented more than 50,000 injuries and saved nearly $5 billion in medical and other injury-related costs.
