Raleigh Police: Man Admits Killing Roommate

Authorities are conducting a murder investigation in Raleigh.

Police say a man was found dead Wednesday morning in Apartment 303 at the Trailwood Heights apartment complex off Gorman Street. Police say the man has not been identified, but they say he is of Honduran descent.

Police say his roommate, Carlos Leon Sanchez, turned himself in Wednesday and admitted to killing the man. Police have charged Sanchez with murder.

Police say it appears the murder stemmed from an altercation between the two men.
