Body Found Behind Fayetteville Grocery Store

Police in Fayetteville are investigating the discovery of a body found behind a grocery store Friday morning.

Authorities said someone found him behind the Food Lion at Raeford Road and Ireland Drive.

Police in Fayetteville believe the victim was a homeless man. Police also said it appears he died of natural causes.

It is not clear how long he had been there. So far, police have not released his name.
