$2K Reward Offered In Sisters' Slayings

Authorities are offering a $2,000 reward for information in a double homicide case in Hertford County.

Earlier this month, Nellie Bradley, 71, and Dorothy Hobbs, 74, both of Emporia, Va., were found stabbed to death on a farm near Murfreesboro -- about 40 miles from their home.

Investigators said the two sisters were last seen alive in Boykins, Va., on Aug. 4, when they had made a donation to Relay for Life.

Their car, a black 1996 Ford, was found in Boykins behind an abandoned house. A purse belonging to one of the victims was found tossed on a roadside, about a mile from where the bodies were found.
