Officials Attend Groundbreaking For American Tobacco Project

There is another milestone for Durham's American Tobacco Project.

City and county officials, along with the owners of WRAL's parent company, Capitol Broadcasting Co., gathered at the site Monday for an official groundbreaking ceremony.

Work began at the site a few months ago. When complete, the project will include 1 million square feet for restaurants, homes and businesses.
